Lean & Clean Italian style Parmesan Turkey Bliss


  • Lean and Clean Blend 1 heaped scoops
  • Turkey               2.5 kg
  • Basil                  2 tablespoons
  • Fresh garlic       2 tablespoons (crushed)
  • Fresh Onion      1 tablespoon (grated)
  • Oregano            3 tablespoons
  • Salt                    2 tablespoons
  • Black Pepper    1 teaspoon
  • Dried Red Pepper   5 teaspoon (crushed)
  • Parmesan Cheese  5 cup (low fat, unsalted)     
  • Vegetable oil For cooking


Mix together all the spices. Rub it inside and outside the turkey. Allow the turkey to absorb the spice flavour by resting it for two to four hours. To create the Parmesan crust, spread the cheese lightly under the skin. Allow the temperature of the poultry to drop to the normal temperate. Heat the vegetable oil in the fryer until the temperature rises to 177 Celsius. Remember that each 1 kg of turkey cooks at an approximate of 3.5 minutes. Note the cooking time accordingly. Truss the turkey in the fryer. Pull out when it is cooked. Rest the meat for 10 to 20 minutes before cutting it. The recipe serves 8-10.
